Robert Rea Unmanned and Autonomous Ambassador
Robert Rea has over 25 years’ experience developing projects that include feasibility studies, strategic plans, R&D planning, environmental assessments, and business plans. These projects cover technology development, aerospace, defense, energy, technology commercialization and venture capital.
He was Director of Planning for an Air Force Research Laboratory, founder of Abt Associates, a government consulting firm in Cambridge MA, Assistant Director of the New Mexico Research and Development Institute, project manager for SAIC and Technology Ventures Corporation in Albuquerque, VP/COO of a high-tech startup from Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Principal at Axcel Innovation, a consulting firm focused on technology commercialization.
Mr. Rea holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix, a Civil Engineer degree from Columbia University for Post-Masters work, an MS in Aeronautical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M.
